April Newsletter: Histamine + Allergies

As we move into allergy season, many people start to notice familiar symptoms—congestion, sneezing, or itchy eyes. But for some, it doesn’t stop there. Symptoms like poor sleep, anxiety, skin flare-ups, or headaches can also begin to show up, often without a clear explanation.

In this month’s newsletter, we’re taking a closer look at histamine and how it may be playing a bigger role in your symptoms than you realize. We’re sharing a new blog post and a free webinar where we walk through what histamine does in the body, why symptoms can feel so inconsistent, and what may actually be driving them beneath the surface.

We also have an important patient announcement to share, along with the introduction of a new team member we’re excited to welcome.

What’s Behind Histamine Intolerance Symptoms

Histamine intolerance symptoms don’t always look the way you’d expect. While most people think of allergies, histamine imbalance can also show up as anxiety, poor sleep, skin flare-ups, or symptoms that seem to come and go without a clear pattern.

In this month’s blog, we’re breaking down what may actually be driving those symptoms and why they’re often a sign of something deeper happening in the body.

Read the blog post here.

Histamine is not bad. Our bodies require it. It plays a huge role in our immune system, digestion, and even brain signaling. Histamine gets a bad reputation, but it’s a good thing. The problem isn’t the histamine itself; the problem is when we release too much.

Supplement Spotlight

Natural D-Hist is a targeted blend of flavonoids, antioxidants, proteolytic enzymes and botanicals designed to provide comprehensive support for seasonal challenges caused by common environmental allergens. Natural D-Hist includes quercetin, a powerful flavonoid, to support healthy histamine levels. Bromelain enhances the absorption of quercetin and supports mucosal tissue health. Stinging nettles leaf balances hyperimmune responses and N-acetyl cysteine clears the airways by promoting normal viscosity of mucus. This powerful combination actively promotes healthy nasal and sinus passages for individuals with elevated histamine and respiratory irritation.

Clinic News

We are so excited to introduce you to our new Office Assistant, Janelle!

“I am a proud wife to a state trooper and a mother to two beautiful daughters. I have been working in healthcare since 2015, and as a registered nurse, I have had the privilege of caring for patients on a medical-surgical/oncology floor. Today, I serve as a nurse educator, where I am passionate about supporting and guiding others in their healthcare journeys.

In my own home, I embrace a holistic approach to wellness. I love empowering my children to care for themselves naturally—so much so that my daughter is often the first to grab the red light or ask for tinctures when she’s not feeling well.

Outside of my professional life, I cherish time spent with my family. You’ll often find us making sourdough together, heading out on new camping adventures in our RV, or simply enjoying the everyday moments that matter most. At the heart of everything I do is my commitment to raising my children to know and love the Lord.

I am truly excited and honored to serve and walk alongside each and every one of you in your healthcare journey.”
