Julian Healthcare Newsletter: PCOS Edition
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common hormone imbalances in women and one of the most misunderstood. While it often presents with symptoms like irregular periods, acne, unwanted hair growth, or difficulty getting pregnant, the root causes of PCOS go much deeper. Blood sugar imbalances, inflammation, gut health issues, and stress can all play a role.
The good news? PCOS is treatable, especially when a root-cause, functional medicine approach is taken. This month, we’re diving into how we help women with PCOS.
Keep reading to learn more about a supplement we are loving that’s designed to support metabolic function, our favorite hormone book recommendation, two brand-new blog posts, clinic news and updates, and a few announcements just for our members. Whether you’ve been diagnosed with PCOS or simply suspect your symptoms might be hormone-related, we hope this month’s resources bring you clarity, encouragement, and practical next steps.

Walk after meals for 10–15 minutes, give the blood sugar a job fueling muscle contractions! This can dramatically reduce post-meal insulin spikes and support ovulation, energy, and weight management without stressing the body like intense workouts sometimes do.
